| 4枚目のスタジオ・アルバム。今回はNils Eriksonを迎えての6人組ツイン・ヴォーカルとなった。 KARMAKANICらしいテクニックと、TFK由来の温かみのある楽曲が融合したバランスの良い作品だと思う。ボーナス・トラックにラジオ・エディットを収録するところに本気さを感じる（笑）。それが功を奏したのか、リリース後にオランダのオルタナ・チャートにラインクンするという快挙もあり。 リリース前から評判のよかった”1969”は、アポロが月面着陸した年で、Jonasの生まれた年でもある。ジャケットのロケットと哺乳瓶をアレンジしたデザインが古いテレビの画面に収まっているのが、ノスタルジックな夢を感じさせる。”Can’t take it with you”はJonasによると「カリプソ・メタルのクレイジーな曲」。その言葉通り、楽しくも圧巻の展開！是非聴いていただきたい。 ボーナス・トラックのビデオ”Send A Message From The Heart”は、おそらく2010年に行われたAGENTS OF MERCYとのジョイント・ツアーのリハーサル映像で、Roine StoltやNad Sylvanの姿も見える。Jonas、Lalle、Göranのインタビューも織り込まれている。（2011/08/29) ♪Can't Take It With You♪ |

| 当時、TFKのベーシストとして、MIDNIGHT SUNなどの北欧メタル・フィールドからプログレへとシフトしてきたヨナスだが、この頃はまだ程良いメタル風味が残っていて従来のファンの方でも聴きやすいのではないかと思う。 「昔々ある所に小さな小さな男が小さな小さな町に住んでおりました。彼が住む小さな小さな家は、小さな小さな小さな小さな惑星、地球にあったのです。･･･」というナレーション"The Little Man"に続く、"Entering the Spectra"は、スペース・ファンタジーという感じの曲。虹の色になぞらえた7つのパートからなっている。（でもオレンジの代わりに白ですが）。Roineがリード・ヴォーカルをとる、どこかほんわかした雰囲気がある。 他の曲は、Roineと、MADISONやYNGWIE MALMSTEENでも活躍したことのある、Göran Edmanがリード・ヴォーカルを分けている。TFKファン的には、Roineが珍しくHM風の歌い方をしている" Cyberdust from Mars"が面白いと思う。 参加メンバーを見ると、殆どがTFK関連メンバーで、TFKに直接関わっていない人物は、Göran EdmanとJöhan Glossnerだけという布陣だが、当時はそういうバンドやプロジェクトが多かった。 TFK周辺も長年の活動を通して、そのファミリー・ツリーのメンバーを増やしていったと思うと感慨深い。(2011/3/7) |
